Who Am I?
Personally, I am an engineer. I have completed my engineering degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
Engineering technology attracted me from my childhood. Nothing is more pleasure to me than learning the mechanism of a new device.
It took 4 years to complete my engineering degree. During this period, I have learned basic of electrical engineering. At first, I learned electrical circuits (both AC and DC), electronic circuits. Then read electrical machine including transformer, induction motor, synchronous generator, synchronous motor, DC generator and DC motor. After two years, I learned about the basic of power system. Also have to learn signal & systems, digital signal processing, communication system, digital logic design and control system.
In fourth year of my education, I selected power system as my major group. And learn deeply about power plant operation and control, power transmission and distribution, smart grid system, nuclear engineering and high voltage transmission.
In these courses I had to solve a lot of mathematical problems. In laboratory, also needed to study various software which supports electrical calculation and simulation. Such as PSPICE, Matlab, Verilog, PSAF and so on.
After completing my degree, I wanted to share the knowledge what I gain. For this purpose, I have launched this Passive Electrical site.
Here I will share basic to advanced level electrical engineering. So, you can follow this site in regular intervals to explore the engineering world.
